You can easily and quietly set 1/8" eyelets for your scrapbook, paper piecing or rubber stamp projects, without having to use a hammer and without leaving them smashed and scratched! This procedure won't work for eyelet-setting in middle of a large page but is certainly perfect for attaching 1/8" round aluminum or brass eyelets to corners of your tags, title, photos, etc. Works especially well with the inexpensive light-weight aluminum eyelets.
SIMPLY USE A HANDHELD 1/16" HOLE PUNCHER TOOL .....here's how to do it:
Make a 1/8" hole in your cardstock mats (or whatever you're using)
Place eyelet through the hole (holes) on the front side of project, grab your 1/16' hole puncher,
Flip project over so that the back side (with the unfinished eyelet) is facing up and insert it in the 1/16" hole puncher with the ' punching stem' pointed down. Squeeze gently and you're done -and the back looks as finished as the front!.
