Here are just a few helpful hints on buying comforter sets, bed in a bag ensemble and quilts:

1. Look around, don't just settle because the price is low.  Since bedding is a very important part of every persons night-life you will want the best deal on what you are really wanting.  Even if the cost is low, you may not end up being truly happy with your purchase if you only settle.  Comfort, style and elegance are usually what people are looking for when they shop for bedding.

2.  When looking for bedding, the more Cotten content, the better and softer the item will be.  If a comforter has a fabric content of 70% Polyester/30% Cotton, chances are it will not be as soft as you are wanting.  If you are looking for bedding that is strictly for a guest room or decorative use then, Great, but if this ensemble is going to be used night after night, then our suggestion is to look for something with at least a 50% Cotton/50% Polyester content.  Although, the more Polyester content may mean less shrinkage.

3.  On sheet sets, 180-200 thread count is good and standard with most bed in a bag ensembles  You can also find 220-250 thread count sheet sets in some bed in a bag ensembles, more in the high-end prices though.

It is normal for quilt in a bag sets to come standard with a 150-200 thread count sheet set because the focus is more on the quilt itself.

4.  Quilts are often made of many different types of fabric content.  Standard is usually Cotton and Polyester as with most comforter sets.  Obviously a 100% Cotton shell will be the softest and most comfortable alternative.  But you may experience shrinkage due to all Cotton content.  A quilt with more Cotten or Ramie content will be softer than quilts with high Polyester content.  A 50/50 mix of Cotton/Polyester is soft as is a Cotton/Ramie mix.  Again if the bedding is strictly used for a guest room or decorative use then less cotton content will be okay and suit your purpose just fine.

6.  Always remember to store your quilt in a fabric case or bag to protect and prolong its life and beauty.  Rolling your quilt, rather that folding, will prevent creases and protect against discoloration or wear along the edges.

There are many great bedding items for sale on Ebay!  Take the time to browse through all the listings to find what you are looking for.

We hope this information has helped you on your journey to finding that perfect ensemble that will inspire your entire space.

Have a great day!
