I think the best way to sell your items is to be as detailed as possible when posting it. If items are used, detail any damage and take clear pictures of it showing it to your buyers. Try taking pictures that shows everything, front back top bottom etc. Let people know how you cared for the item. Keep your boxes and papers for items, so when it comes to selling, it looks alot better when you have all the item came with.
