 I have been a seller on ebay for 4 years now, it was not always easy and still is not always easy to be a good seller. Finding the right items to sell is the key. 

 Myself I sell n a very competive market which is Diecast toy cars, I am a wholesaler which once I closed my real store I managed to maintain my liscene and all, however things are still rough.  Being a female seller in the die cast world is another strike on me. Most male gender buyers prefer to deal with other males,even in this century , sad but true.

When ebay introduced the Best offer option to a listing this was a perfect thing for me and my wares, it allows me to be a better seller.  Sure you still have regular sales and auctions that continue on with out any problems.The best offer feature is a perfect edge for hard to find items and allows the seller to be even more competive with similiar products. I encourage more sellers to use this option its only to your advantage, when listing just click the best offer box, you still have the right to decline the offer if it does not meet your criteria, course you will get the occassional person who will offer 1.00 for a 20.00 item but you dont have to sell it for that, just decline and you have the option to leave them a reason as to why as well.The plus to this is also the time allowed for best offer options you have about 48 hours to accept or not to accept.

Newly added to this option is now a counteroffer place if you feel the offer is a bit low submit the counter offer back to the buyer sometimes this can work out for both of you. Its a hard trick to beat, set your price and now set your own negotiating terms, Awesome!they must have been reading my mind when they did this change.

This Best offer program is one of the best ideas Ebay has provided for sellers, its a great way to move out slow selling items and keep them from collecting dust, and those fees from adding up. I do sell alot of my items with this practice, it works and I will continue to use it, and I also hope more of you will as well.
