There are a few tips and tricks I picked up and it has really helped me selling my clothes.
First of check out the community bulltin boards on ebay for any questions. There is one for childrens clothes and everyone is so nice and helpful.
First off sell in sizes. I see to many sellers selling 0-3 with 2T ect. Noone wants to buy so far ahead in a size.
Second sell major brands or boutique brand seperate not in lots. I mean if its a complete outfit or set yes put them together. But don't put gap jeans and tops with a bunch of other tops and jeans. You'll get more for that set then you would in a lot.
Third sell in season or a month or 2 before the season. You don't want to be listing summer items in july-March. ect Yes you may get bids but you will get MORE bids closer to the season cause their will be MORE lookers.
OUTFITS sell! You have a old navy jeans old navy shirt and old navy sweater but them together if they match it will sell good.
COSTUMES sell great from Aug.-first week of oct.
TAKE paypal!
Post shipping prices, I know I close and quit looking if I have to ask the shipping price.
also post you combining policy. Come on people are not dumb, so don't get steep with shipping clothes! I know its not that expensive!
If you smoke wash items before shipping and don't add a dryer sheet to your baggie it stinks! Its to strong of a smell and they can still smell smoke either way!
When packing item place them in baggies then in your mailer. This keeps them neatly folded, also add a copy of the paypal recipt or something with their address on it, just incase the package rips open the usps can get the item to them.
I always write thank you please leave feedback so know you recieved your item ect. Also you can offer a discount to return customers add it to the paper also.
Take good pics! Under bright lights and unfold clothes so you looker can see all of the item!
