My experience with buying large lots of Barbie clothes has mostly been positive, however there have been a time or two where the clothes I recieved should not have been put into a lot unless it was described as junk clothes.
If you are selling a lot of Barbie clothes keep these things in mind.
People are looking for clothes that look similar to what they look like when they are new!
1. Holes, tears, snags? Throw them in your junk pile!
2. Completly wrinkled? Yep, to the junk pile!
3. Stained or dirty? You got it, to the junk pile!
WAIT....... don't throw these into the garbage. You can still make some money from these clothes. So hang on to them.
Now take the pile of junk clothes and count them, take photo's and post them as a junk lot of Barbie clothes. They usually sell the first time through. Your customer will probably use them for parts in making doll clothes or something similar and will be thrilled with the lot.
Now that you have weeded out all of the junk you have a nice lot of clothes to post in the auctions.
Dont forget to mention in your desciption that you have gone through the lot and taken out anything with Stains, holes, tears, etc... This will mean a lot to your buyer.
Buyers also want to know aproximatly how many pieces are in the lot, and of course any other details you may know about the clothes such as;
General age of the clothes, What is in the lot, if they were played with Etc...
Barbie clothes are a highly sought after item on ebay and it drives a lot of traffic to your store and other auctions. So it's definatly worth the time to put them on.
