Selling your wares on ebay is easy.  You can sell anything from household items, good used and new clothing, baby items, such as children's toys they might not use anymore, jewelry, books, and just about anything.  You have the opportunity to make some extra cash, as well as clean out your basement or attic.  I have found it is great to have some extra space, and began on ebay by looking around my home for items and various household nick nacks that were no longer needed or did not fit in my decor anymore.  I listed them on ebay, and at first, without even a camera to take pictures. I sold most of what I listed and made some extra money, then decided to purchase resale items, going to the flea market, yard sales and auctions. I also put my bottle digging hobby to use in making a little money, and sold some of my treasures, making even more capital.  I bought a digital camera and was then able to take pictures of my items, helping them to sell for more.   I found through ebay, I made some terrific contacts, both in buying and selling.  Ebay explains step-by-step how to list your items and in which categories.  I advise looking up other seller's items, seeing where they are listed, and getting an idea of the item or items you are planning to list, and what it is presently bringing.  You may have some treasures, unbeknown to you, which could help pay the bills or finance a vacation or even buy a car!  You never can tell!  I have not gotten rich from ebay, but it certainly has given me an opportunity which I might not have had otherwise, both to sell my items as well as buy things I might have not found.  Selling on ebay gives mothers and fathers the possibility to stay at home with their children, where in so many case nowadays, both parents have to work outside the home to make ends meet.
