If you've ever been to the flea markets of summertime there are always vendors selling ridiculous wares, from broken glass to cheap Nikes. Have you ever seen something and wondered if it might fetch more than its price on Ebay? Unfortunately the answer can be yes and no. If you find the right Ebay buyer, chances are that they would have never seen the item at the flea market. You are opening a product up to millions of potential buyers, all with cash on hand and willing to pay full price. The downside? Buying an itme that you think is great that turns out to be over priced, broken beyond repair, or just not wanted by the Ebay community. To make sure that you have a good item and that you turn a profit ask yourself these three sets of questions before buying.

1. What condition is the item in? If it is dirty or scuffed can you clean it to add value? Do you have skill in repairing furniture or mechanical parts? How can you maximize the item's value? Make sure that you can present the item in such a way that your Ebay buyer will say wow!

2. Have you done research on the item prior to going to the flea market? Can you negotiate the seller down? (they will always go down at least 10%) If you are buying multiple items from the same vendor have you asked for a discount? Know the probable value of the item (bring a laptop w/ wireless internet if you have one) and negotiate the seller to his/her lowest price, even if it means you might lose a few deals.

3. Have you considered how you will ship the item? Is it breakable, extremely flammable, fragile, ect.? Remember that oversized, heavy, flammable, liquid, or fragile materials are very hard to ship. Check the rules of your shipping provider, I would even bring a printed out set of regulations to the flea market.

Have a plan, negotiate, and sell for great profits. You can easily make over a 200% return on great finds at flea markets, just don't let it get to your head because there are far to many ways to lose money in this game. Enjoy hunting, message me with any great finds! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this guide, I hope it helps you in the future.
