I just sold a book on ebay, someone bought it. I shipped it out the day after the sale via media mail. Media mail takes 5-17 days in the mail. This book is also going across the country, so I think that it would take more towards the latter. 5 days after the sale, she is threatening me to file a claim with me because she didn't recieve the book yet. I am talking back and forth with her. She files a claim with me, I refund the money to her, then she leaves me negative feedback. WTF I did everything I could do. Now I can't leave her negative feedback, and can't open a claim, because e-bay won't let me. The worst part, my wife forgot to get a tracking number when she shipped it out. So I have no proof, except for the copy of the reciept that I shipped something out to that zip code the day after the sale. Good enough, NO. Be careful as a seller and ALWAYS get a tracking number.
