When taking photos for your listing it is helpful to add a visual to your photo, If you place a 12 inch ruler in the photo, everybody knows how big that is. For a very small item place a coin in the photo. This helps the buyer to gauge the size. I also most of the time I add approx. measurements for actions. When I list clothing items I usually add measurements so my buyers can check to see if it will fit them by measuring themselves. This has helped my buyers Also this helps to avoid disputes that could arise later as to most of the time items look bigger in photos than actual item. I really think your buyers will have a better understanding of the item size that you are selling.
I found when packing breakables I always take a photo of item packed before closing the box. Then ship it, there has been a couple of times you get from a buyer ":you did not pack well, item is broke or damaged." This has happened 4 times to me, I always ask for the buyer to send me a photo and I will send the one of the packed item. This is a safety net for all involved, because if there is damage in shipping you have a frustrated buyer and the shipper states "It was not packed well enough". This tip protects every one, but mostly yourself. You have proof to the buyer the you took good care of their items and proves your integrity to your buyer, prove to your shipper that item was packed securely and to yourself especially when it uninsured. Then when my buyer leaves feedback I just erase the photo. It just takes a couple of extra seconds and is worth a million in peace of mind.
If you need to contact me just drop by one of my listings and ask seller a question.
