I've always just looked up the item I want, found it, bid on the one better priced then let it go.   UMMM, NO, NO, NO!!!   I received a big slap for that one this week!

*ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS look at a seller's feedback BEFORE you bid!!!  I can't stress this enough!  Yes, the item may be cheap but LOOK - does the seller have a reputation for not taking credit cards as PROMISED in the auction, does the feedback state this and does it also state that the person does not SHIP if you send them a check or money order?   Don't just read RECENT feedback, read back...I could have found my information in the last four months of her business!

*DOES the seller have a POTTY mouth to every single person who has given her a negative BECAUSE the credit card was not accepted or she did not send them paid-for merchandise?

*Look at the items sold in which that seller did NOT respond to the buyer.  From what I see, it is simply because the item didn't sell for as much as she wanted so, "voila", she doesn't answer phone calls or emails and then lies about it afterwards.

STEER CLEAR.  Better to pay a bit more from someone else than do what I've had to do, and that is fight with every breath I take to have the dishonest person REMOVED, the nasty feedbacks REMOVED.   I don't expect to be successful in having her removed completely.

*IF you have a transaction of this kind - the seller does NOT respond, does NOT take your credit card when they said they would, calls you names in feedback - REPORT THEM, REPORT THEM, REPORT THEM!!  Simply giving them negative feedback does NOTHING to end this person's actions and will NOT result in their being punished or removed from eBay.

eBay MUST have official complaints - and OFTEN.  A negative feedback is simply an opinion of the buying process and has no affect on eBay's actions toward a buyer or seller.

MAKE OFFICIAL REPORTS!!

*Does the seller resort to foul name-calling whenever they receive a negative?  The purpose of feedback is to, HONESTLY, tell others of  your buying experience.  Honest feedback may come in the form of "didn't receive item, seller won't respond or take credit cards", etc...RETALIATORY and unforgiveable feedback is that which calls personal insults.  "Lowlife, lowlife hooker, corner worker, retard, idiot, ignorant POS...these are good ones".  "Scammer, liar and cheat" if the eBayer has always had a good feedback rating until this one!!

eBay was very kind to me and removed the horrible personal remarks I recieved - which were totally uncalled for.  The rest are in "my messages", a constant stream of name-calling.  I have fun everytime I log on.  Yep, I get to cry.  BUT - I CLICK ON THE "SEND THIS MESSAGE TO EBAY" AND SAY THE MEMBER IS HARASSING ME".  EVERY SINGLE TIME!!

*eBay will NOT necessarily remove feedback that calls you a liar, a scammer or a thief, even if it is untrue.  They respond with removal only when the feedback becomes a very personal remark.   That is their policy.

*Even if the seller offers you the ability to pay by credit card...tread warily.  LOOK AT THEIR MOST RECENT FEEDBACK!!  Just because it is listed in their auction does NOT make it the truth.  This kind of fraud (offering to take credit cards when you actually cannot pay that way) is slow to be removed as fraud, as well, so I wouldn't EVEN bid at all if the feedback is even slightly suspicious in that area.  Paypal, yes, anything else, ABSOLUTELY NOT!!

*IF, at auction end, the credit card links REFUSE your credit card (I gave her two tries with each company) when you know it is good, REPORT THE SELLER for fraudulant auction listings!  Meanwhile, try hard to ignore her illiterate feedback statements such as "broke credit card" and "broke ebayer" because you know - and every person who reads her foul feedback - knows she is untruthful and vindictive, as well as being untrustworthy.

*eBay's entire policy revolves around "Trust and Safety".  They do NOT expect you to have to send a check or money order to a non-reputable seller!  They do not expect you to have to pay in that manner when the auction promised you the protection of a credit card!  THAT is grounds for an "unpaid item" strike removal" so don't let it tear you up, just keep your evidence and keep emailing until you get the matter resolved!  They are people, like us, not monsters...just busy people!

Sellers such as myself spend half of our eBay time making up for sellers like HER.  Giving away freebies, speaking over and over with customers until they know we are honest, dropping prices or giving free shipping to prove ourselves worthy of trust.  Giving immediate refunds when the postal service is two days late in delivery and asking customers to please keep the item when it DOES arrive.  Sending little extras (not junk!) that actually COST something!  That would not be needed at all if  the necessary steps were taken to insure that people like this no LONGER have any say in the selling process.

Pardon me, but people of this ilk shouldn't be allowed to shovel my barn, MUCH LESS sell on eBay!

Ha!!  The woman even bragged to me today that she could call me any name she wanted, that she's been doing it for years to everyone and eBay has NEVER even slapped her wrist.

Funny - I get mine slapped over 1.50 too much in shipping.

These types of inequities simply SLAY ME.   UNFORGIVEABLE.

My request to all of you is this...refrain from reporting a good seller if you see the shipping is one dollar too much.  Leave the good, honest sellers alone over the little things!  Let us do our best by you without constant harassment over little things that mean nothing.  Meanwhile...

REPORT every single item that is small and weighs little but has 30 dollars shipping attached ( to the US, of course...international shipping is INCREDIBLE via the US so I have stopped doing it, too expensive).

REPORT every nasty seller OR buyer you come across.  REPORT, REPORT, REPORT the IMPORTANT things, NOT the little things, until the eBay community is clean once again and we can all have a safe environment in which to trade!

And please vote for my guide if you've found it useful in any way!
