Will the recalls impact holiday toy sales on eBay?

We have all heard about the recalls this year - and although it may scare some of the toy shoppers this season Don’t be deceived into thinking people are going to be staying away from toys all together. Many analysts are saying that toys are still going to be one of the biggest sellers this season - they just might shift from what was expected to be hot a few months ago.

The Holiday Toy Selling Guide is going to be addressing this issue but, it makes the research piece of the GOLD level even more valuable.

A couple of things to remember...

- Parents are still going to be buying toys for Christmas they may steer away from toys that are made in China but toys are still going to be a very hot seller. Even a slowed economy will have minimal effect because parents are likely to go without in order to get special toys for their children.

- There will be less supply and less supply means higher demand. Some toys may be more difficult to come by because there will be a higher demand for them  however, it just means higher profits for eBay sellers.

Are you ready to make toy recalls work in your favor? Increase your profits and sell even more hot holiday toys this year with the advanced techniques and strategies of the Holiday Toy Selling Guide. Don’t Make This Mistake When Listing Toys This Christmas

Since you know what the hot sellers are long before they sell out – thanks to the Holiday Toy Guide at (insert affiliate link)  you sometimes get a chance to grab quite a few of the same hot item at once. One of the biggest mistakes you could make is to list more than one of them at a time. Let’s look at an example.

If you scored on a bunch of a particular hot item, don’t list them all at the same time (unless you are running a BIN auction). You will spread your bidders out between your listings and your ending price won’t be as high. Less availability means higher profits. Instead, list them one at a time, and relist as soon as an auction closes. I love getting my hands on several identical items. Since I only have to take the picture once and create the listing once, it saves me lots of time when I can hit that relist button. That of course means that I can go out there and shop some more.

Find out what the hot sellers are while there are still quite a few of them on the shelves with the Holiday Toy Guide.

9 Tips For Finding Those Hard To Find Toys

Just because you may not see a toy on the shelf in a store, doesn’t mean it is out of stock. Use these nine tips to find even the toys that are the most difficult to get your hands on.

1. Communicate with your local stores to learn stocking patterns

2. Talk with store stockers just to learn how they run their store

3. Store employees are more likely to talk with collectors than dealers - I don’t recommend lying… but, I would be careful of the wording. They will figure out that you are a dealer/reseller when you visit buying the same things over and over.

4. Talk with customer service folks - Don’t assume all employees have the same level of information. Sometimes they have information the stockers don’t have. Where a stocker may not know when they are getting a shipment of a specific toy, the customer service folks may be able to tell you.

5. Avoid the big stores - check out drug stores, grocery stores - even smaller online toy stores

6. Visit grocery stores/drug stores in less affluent areas

7. Visit Out of the way cities

8. Look behind other toys on the shelves

9. Look under shelves in hidden storage areas - and places employees would hide toys.

The 2007 Holiday Toy Selling Guide provides you with a shopping list of toys - many of these toys are going to get harder and harder to find as we get closer to the holiday season. Be sure to use these tips to find these great selling toys.

You really can't afford to not sell toys this Christmas, so get the RIGHT headstart now with the 2007 HOLIDAY TOY GUIDE!
