The information below is to help you choose the correct size dog apparel item for your puppy or dog.

1.  Dog apparel comes in a very limited size range and there is a significant difference between sizes of apparel. Because of the limit in sizing the measurements listed will fit the range listed. The item may be larger or smaller fitting on your dog depending where on the size range they fall. Never assume that because you have a small dog they will take a small size.
2.  Different manufactures have different sizes. Most of the dog apparel items list a size chart for that apparel item only Including length, widest girth and neck or actual length of garment to help you choose the correct size.
3. You may not receive a perfect fit for your pet because of the limited sizing for dog apparel. The item may be larger or smaller fitting depending where on the size chart your dog or puppy falls. For jackets, coats, sweatshirts etc... it is recommended you fit the girth first and length second as many of the fabrics have no stretch and if the girth is too small you will not be able to close the garment. On sweaters it is recommended you fit the length first as sweaters that are knit have stretch, but they also have legs straps which need to be fitted correctly so the length is more important.

Measuring Your Pet:
1. Measure your pet from base of the neck to base of the tail. This is standard for all dog apparel.
2. Measure chest at its widest point, which is usually behind the front legs. This measurement is most important for jackets, coats and items with no fabric stretch.
