Safeguarding the ashes of a loved one is a very important function of the Urn and is also intended to be a means of capturing the personality of the deceased.

The selection of the cremation urn is the first step in memorializing your loved one. Urn Garden offers many creative ways to pay tribute to your cherished lost one. If you choose to have a Ceremony or Funeral-Memorial service, it is appropriate to have an Urn containing the cremains or ashes present. However, for those of the Catholic faith, in some diocese, local permission is needed for the cremated remains of the body to be present at Mass.

Cremation urns are available in several different sizes to accommodate varying amounts of cremains. Generally the cremains from an average size adult require an urn capacity of approximately 200 cubic inches (approximately one cubic inch per pound).

Individual Funeral Urns are designed to contain the complete ashes of an adult. Cubic inch volume capacity is usually around 180-250.

A companion urn is designed to contain the complete cremains (ashes) of two adults. Cubic inch volume capacity range is 380-500.

Urns are available in smaller sizes to accommodate pet cremation and families that plan to share or scatter some of the ashes.  Urn volume ranges 20-80 cubic inches.

Cremation Urns-made from Bronze, Pewter, Wood, Ceramic, and Marble-can be personalized on Brass nameplates and medallions. Urn keepsakes and cremation jewelry are designed to contain the partial cremains of an adult, or the complete cremains of an infant or youth. Many cremation urn styles and sizes are available to accommodate a variety of your needs.

Urn Garden has a large selection of Cremation Urns, Memorial Stones, Garden Urns, Pet Cremation Urns, Ceramic Urns, Wood Urns, Stone Urns, Keepsake Jewelry, and Funeral Urns.
