Two things happened last week when ESPN aired their Sebastian Telfair "Through the Fire" documentary...:

1) Sebastian Telfair vaulted into my favorite NBA Point Guard not named Dwayne Wade (though he mostly plays a #2)

2) Sebastian Telfair's Jersey vaulted into popularity and is a top seller

Why did the Sebastian Telfair jersey rocket in popularity? Telfair is a natural talent who made the rare jump from high school phenom to NBA point guard... He has a huge smile, a clean image, and unbelievable talent. It is hard to watch Through the Fire or read Ian Oconnor's The Jump Book and not like Telfair's tenacity and dedication to his family.

Another reason is that the Portland Trail Blazers Jersey reeks of old school-ness and the black on red/white/grey color scheme is fantastic. The Trail Blazers jersey is a classic - especially in the black colorway... The soon to be classic is the #31 Sebastian Telfair Jersey!
