About a year ago I purchased a craftsman radial arm saw for 649.00 new from sears for my dad it is JUNK we have had nothing but problems with it.I was talking to a friend one day who had purchased a dewalt 718 miter saw it cuts a wider board,it can cut dados,it will adjust for miters and bevels so much easier it is 100 times the tool. Dont waste your money on the craftsman radial arm saw but another brand or buy a dewalt 718 sliding miter it will cut a 16 inch wide board.I am not even going to get the radial arm saw fixed this time,the safety cabel that keeps the saw from running across the piece stopped working.It is going to the bone yard.
