As listing fees on ebay increase and interested bidders decrease I have opened two ebay stores. It is very easy to search ebay stores only on ebay. Just go to any page and click on the stores tab BEFORE searching.
If you just search ebay without clicking the store tab all you will see is what is listed on the ebay CORE site. The store listings are NOT shown unless the results from the CORE search are minimal.
For example, my CORE listings number right around 150 listings with most of them being single item listings.
My store listings number around 300 listings with multiple quantities for some items making the total number of items listed near 800 items.
As sellers we have to hope buyers go to our store to search for an item and drive buyers there to make purchases.
Another example.
You go to ebay, searching for something popular like a Nikon D80 DSLR camera or a Canon Digital Rebel XT DSLR.
There will be many results so all you will see listed are the CORE listings.
Since you just typed and searched that or anything else but didn't find exactly what you were looking for the likely hood that you will enter someones store and search the same terms again are slim.
BUT
That is exactly what you need to do.
Store results and core results are kept separate.
Why?
Because that's the way ebay has it set up.
I hope you have found this information helpful.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me via ebay's messaging system.
Thank you,
