Ever wonder how those other sellers get thier packages to show online? This is a guide that will show you how to get your packages to show online as accepted and delivered. This guide will give you those inside tips and hints you wished you had learned months ago. So you use Paypal to ship, get delivery confirmation too, but darn, Post office wont scan those packages or better yet, how do you prove you shipped that package? Let me show you.

  When Paypal released that you can now print shipping labels through them, as a seller I was thrilled. Then when I found out the priority mail packages got free delivery confirmation, I was  on cloud nine, until I noticed that the post office didn't always scan those packages when I dropped them off, nor did they get scanned most of the time when they were delivered. As a seller I know I have to show proof of shipping if there is a dispute as well as if asked by any buyer. Postal workers can no longer refuse to scan a form for accepted packages, the trick, is to have the CORRECT form.

My 1st tip for you, in a bright red, blue, or green marker start writing on the label to "PLEASE SCAN ME". I am sure you are asking yourself, does that really help? It does! Most of the time it makes them look twice at the package and will scan them when being delivered. Make sure it is in a BOLD color that is hard to notice. Postal workers handle loads of packages daily and you don't want yours to be overlooked.

My 2nd tip, get to know your postal worker because they will go above and beyond to help you when you need it. Ask them how they are, if they are having a nice day. Did you know that postal workers get a bonus for packages they pick up from you? So you are doing them a favor when you have them pick up those packages, and they will do you the favor to scan your SCAN FORM without an issue.

I am sure now you are asking yourself, What is a scan form?

This is a GREAT form the post office has created. After hearing shippers scream out the issues they are having and why they are not using the post office to ship, they finally did something about it.  PS Form 5630 or better know as Scan forms are a fast and easy way to show that your packages were accepted at the post office or by your postal worker. This form as shown as a sample below...

As you can see, there is a bar code that the postal worker will scan and every package under that bar code is updated that you have given those packages to the post office. They also include things like the number of packages you are shipping and by class. The date, your name, address are also on there as a way to confirm all information is correct.

So you like the Scan Form? So how do you get it to print with your Paypal Labels?

Believe it or not, it is VERY easy and takes only a few more seconds to print one and saves you LOADS of time. So here are step by step instructions for getting that PRICELESS form when printing with paypal.

Here is what you do...

When you are in your MY EBAY page

Next to the item is PRINT SHIPPING LABEL

When you click on that, it takes you to sign into your paypal account and then to the info to ship that package.

If you look in the first paragraph you will see PAYPAL MULTI ORDER SHIPPING in blue

If you click on that,  a new screen will open, asking you about importing

Import all orders

Then you will see a screen where you show all your orders and boxes to pick how to ship, weight,  & size.

Fill in the shipping method, weight and size if need be

Once you are done, you will PAY & PRINT

Print all of your package labels at once

When the screen came up fo you to print them out, look for the 2nd button it should say SCAN FORM

***PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST PRINT THIS FORM BEFORE YOUR SHIPPING LABELS***

Then print your labels, paypal will also do packaging slips, or you can view it online so you don't mix up who gets what package.

Woohooo you did your Scan Form, so now what?

You take that form in with all your packages. Before handing over those packages show that form to the postal worker, and kindly ask them to scan the form while accepting the packages. All post office workers have been told about this form and there for you should not run into any issues. If you do, talk to the post master and explain what the form is, why you need it scanned.

This process takes all of 10 seconds, they scan it, they take the packages, and you are done! You get to keep the form as proof that you shipped those packages, and you can also go online and see the updates as well. Please vote at the bottom if this guide was help to you, thanks so much.
