Buyer / Bidder beware. This deal is too good to be true and here is why. This seller will contact bidders and offer the trailer to the first person to send $2900 through Square Trade. Seller does not want to be contacted through ebay. Turns out they want cash sent via Western Union. Seller claims to be in the U.K., Spain, Netherlands ect. and got the trailer when father in law passed away here in U.S. I was told the trailer is in San Jose, CA at Square Trade's warehouse.
When I questioned seller about location of the warehouse they were not willing to provide info. I offered to drive to San Jose and view trailer and pay that day if it was ligitimate. Seller then wanted $500 sent via Western Union before they would allow me to see the trailer. I said no deal unless I could see the trailer first. No further response from seller and the trailer is back on ebay. I have all email correspondence with seller. Notified ebay of this fraud but haven't heard anything from them. Seller has numerous positive feedback but still believe a scam is going on. I now see there are two Scamp trailers listed for $2900. Watch out...
I sent email to both sellers and got responses from them that were identical except one claims to be in U.K. and the other in Spain. Exact same story on how they obtained the trailer and how payment was to be made. I sent each another email indicating my concerns regarding fraud and both trailers were taken off ebay immediately. I'm sure they will be back.
