Luckly my 17 year old son is level headed, I too almost got scammed.I had found a 2002 golf cart with all the bells and whistles for $1500 ( way too good of a deal). The auction stated that the cart was in PA.The seller was going to ship for free, I live all the way in Fl.This seller said in his auction to email him first before I bid.I emailed him that day by that evening the auction dissapeared from Ebay. The following day this person emails me and said he removed his auction because he said he had a buyer but the deal fell thru because he couldn't come up with the money. He had also said that he was no longer in the US because he had to move to England and to take the cart with him would be a problem.I told him I was still interested, then I received an email from Squaredeal requesting a payment to be sent thru WesternUnion to an agent in England.I started to get nervous over the deal so I didn't respond, the next day I received another email from Squaredeal saying that this seller has a great reputation, so I thought maybe I was wrong. After I told my son that I was going to go ahead with this deal my son started checking things out.Thank god he did, he pulled up alot of information on these types of scams.I kept saying this cart was too good to be true. These scammers really disgust me.
