What a nice price for that dvd, even with the foreign shipping? Maybe, but let's check the feedback, particularly the first page. How curious, the first twenty feedback have similar wording and the buyers have very few purchases, and many of them are no longer registered users. (Later in the evaluation process)

I located a very scarce and expensive dvd set. So, the seller was in Pakistan. Maybe it would be ok. I asked a question about shipping and got a response email from a DVD store. Fine.

Looking at the feedback I noticed unhappy campers here in the USA. Some complained about slow shipping or damaged goods or, heavens, duped DVD with low quality. I checked the feedback and found some from the DVD store which had sent me the email. Hmmmm. Others had the problems listed above.

The scammer had puffed feedback by means of fake buyers and bogus transactions. Pakistan and Singapore tend to have many production studios making in house copies, so to speak. There are many honest foreign sellers. but be careful how you check them out.

I bought a rare vhs from an American seller and began getting emails asking whether I had received it. Hmmm. It never arrived, and the seller had been so conscientious. The other transactions seemed ok. No insurance, so I ate that one. This was for JOHNNY SHILOH one of the rare Disney vhs.

I bought the same movie from another seller. Very rare, very scarce. I knew. But I got a second shot at it. ANY TIME A RARE ITEM COMES BACK WITH A BUY IT NOW ITEM AFTER YOU LOST, GO FIGURE. Wow, oh boy. Jump on that. When it arrived, of course it was a faked up clamshell with a duped VHS. I watched the movie and enjoyed it because it was there. I had never had a chance to see it in any form. I never even gave negative feedback or complained. I just figured I had learned that one.

So, use some caution with those movie purchases. Recently I checked Johnny Shiloh to see who had it listed now. Amazingly I found it for 3.00 open, and every vhs the guy had was a rare film with a 3.00 open. Hmmmmm. Makes you wonder.
