Firstly, if you want to get something on eBay.com for the lowest price you should always bid on the item at the last second. If you were to bid on a item with 9 days left and then someone over bid you, then you bid again, the the other person bids, ect., the price would be very high now. (NOT GOOD) If you waited, until the last second, it would have still bid the same very low price it started at, or near it. I know someone else might bid when there is 9 days left, but just ignore it and don't bid over them until the 30 seconds or so of the auction.
Secondly, try to find misspellings. When someone spells the name of an item wrong in the title, nobody will see it because eBay's search engine won't find it. To find misspellings you can use search engines found on the internet. Search "eBay Misspellings" in Google.
Thirdly, items tend to sell for more money when more people are on eBay. Most people are on eBay around 8:00p.m. (After Work). So try to find an item that ends at a time that most likely isn't good for others but good for you. This way when you bid at the last minute there is a lower chance of some waiting to bid at the last second as well.
