Ok folks here is a little information you have all heard or read before, but it bears repeating. Tornado fuel savers DON'T WORK they are restrictive and create a turbulant air stream which actually decreases horsepower. More over the restriction causes your carbureted vehicle to use MORE fuel. Its just like running your vehicle with the choke stuck on.
Here's a few tips. K&N style filters DO increase airflow therefore increase milage. Regular oil changes help not only your fuel milage but also longevity of your engine. (2500-3000 miles for regular oil 4500-5000 miles for synthetic) By the way, if you use synthetic oil don't switch back and forth between that and regular petroleum based oils. Stick to one or the other. regular tune-ups help with mileage, perfomance, and longevity. Regular fluid changes in your automatic transmission can also avoid costly repairs.
Vehicle manufacturers are building their vehicles better than ever, but they are making poor reccomendations for service intervals. Those of you that do read their owners manuals probably have noticed that most manufacturers are now reccomending 5000-7500 between ooil changes with regular oil. That is ABSURD.
Save your money, most items like the tornado and power chips are gimmiks and only waste your time and money. It is more important to have preventative maintainence services performed at regular intervals.
