This guide is intended for eBay sellers and will show how you can save a little money on eBay fees as well as the cost of shipping.
eBay tries very hard to get you to pay your fees with PayPal for a simple reason. It's their service and they do not have to pay credit card fees. That is fine but how does that benefit you, the seller? It does not.
There are credit cards out there that will give you rewards or pay you dividends (send you a check once you earn certain amount of money). The two I use are from Citi and Chase. Both of them pay you back 1% on charges such as eBay. I use those cards to pay for everything I buy including my eBay fees and the cost of stamps I put on my boxes.
1% might not seem like a lot but it will quickly add up. My eBay fees run in $2000+ range which gives me $20+ back every month just on that fee alone. That's enough to pay for my eBay store! When you add the stamps and the cost of everything else related to selling on eBay that 1% does not look too bad. For those not convinced, how much are you getting if you choose to pay your eBay fees with PayPal?... $0... nothing... zippo.
There is a catch though. This will only work if you pay off your credit card bill IN FULL EACH MONTH AND ON TIME. If you charge your eBay fees to your credit card and you do not pay the balance in full, THIS WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU! Your 1% money back will turn into 8%+ that you have to pay to credit card companies.
If you don't have a credit card that pays rewards, go online, search for credit cards that pay dividends and start saving money on your eBay fees!
I hope this guide has been helpful to you and I wish you best of luck.
