after selling a cylinder I was asked how to remove the break away bolts on the S series saturn ignition housing so here goes.....

after removing the steering column shrouds, unplugging the electrical connection,  use a small cold chisel ( not to sharp yet enough to bite) gently tap the outter edge of each bolt as close to the housing be careful not to smack to hard or you will just shave it away. once it turns usually a turn or so a inverted torx will turn it off , if not than slowly work the bolt with the chisel.  after a few turns it will be finger tight and you can spin it off with your fingers. when installing be sure the tab goes in the slot or you will tighten the new bolts , they will break off before you realize you have a gap that once re aligned now leaves your whole assemby loose.
