These units are readily available on UK and USA  EBay and whilst functioning OK have very important differences to ones bought direct in the UK and USA that buyers should... BUT are not made aware of.

Home bought units have a post code -for the UK and a Zip code -for USA search facility.Units from Hong Kong  and China DO NOT - only a search for address facility which causes great problems in use,especially in a large country like the USA and delay in setting up

Instruction manual carries no instructions how to use.Plenty of help on the many other functions but not the one you want.

Since the units are sold by middle men help is limited

Map upgrades are impossible since you will not be told the make of unit

The other functions are great but if you want sat nav or gps please note the shortcomings
