I have had this phone for about a  couple of weeks now. Here is what I think about it:
First, I wanted a thin phone. I HATE having some appendage hanging on my belt. Stupid cell phone hung sideways on swivel clips; I can't stand those things getting in my way. I have always wanted a thin phone I can put in my pocket and not know it is there. I had a Sanyo Vi-2300 and yes that monster would fit in my pocket, and yes it felt like rock in my pocket so I never carried it with me, always on my car seat or on my desk, never really with me all the times. I think they have finally produced a phone that I can put in my pocket and I don't care that it is there, not a bother at all.
This is a multi-media phone. It works on Sprints Power Vision network. I guess you can watch streaming content from Sprint on it, movies I suppose. I am not going to watch movies or listen to mp3's on a phone, so if you want to know how that works you need to go somewhere else.
Ok, back to the phone, yes it is a phone; you make and receive phone calls on it, right?
First thing, sound quality on this phone is top notch. It has some sort of noise canceling feature, and even though the voice volume never gets really loud, the voice quality is clear and sounds as if you are on a land line. There is a volume adjustment on the side, well placed and easy to use. The phone does have a sweet spot to hit when you bring the phone up to your ear, you need to get the speaker over you ear just right to get the full volume, not difficult, but if you want to ease drop in on someone that is using this phone you won't be able to hear the other person across the room. If the volume is up to high the sound will distort, just turn it down a click or two and you are good to go.
This phone has a built in mp3 player, the speaker is used for mp3 playback and the ringer. The ringer volume is not all that high, and speaker does not deliver stereo sound at all. So, you can use the supplied ear bud type headset for mp3's or suffer. Since this is the same speaker for the ringer, your fancy ringtones don't sound that great on this phone. So if you are the type that wants Reagan to say that "I just outlawed Russia and the bombing begins in 5minutes" in the middle of a Democrat convention just get a rise out of someone, don't bother because you are most likely the only one that is going to hear it. So, if you are looking for an mp3 player and phone, skip this one.
The internal screen is excellent, big (for a cell phone) and bright. You can customize the screen with your pictures, etc. I love the large fonts that the phone has when you dial. No need for glasses just to see the screen!! You can customize the screen to make it your personal phone, now that is something I enjoy, you can put a picture of you kids on the screen and actually be able to see them!
The external sceen has the time, signal strength meter etc. When the phone comes out of the box the external screen does not have caller ID. I updated my phones firmware (you can do this from the phones menu) the external screen turned into a caller ID screen. So, don't believe all the reviews out there that say this phone does not have caller ID outside, it will after you upgrade the firmware. How nice!
The phone has bluetooth, I used it one time to get a file from a friends Cingular phone. First time for me. I had to figure out how to use both phones bluetooth features, it took 15 minutes to figure both of them out. The Samsung was easy to figure out how to use, but the bluetooth feature is burried in the menu system. The phone has a soft button for favorites, so I made the Bluetooth menu item appear on the favorites menu, now it is a two button click operation to get to  the bluetooth screen, now it is easy to use.
This phones Bluetooth is version 2.0, which I believe is just a faster version. I ordered a PCMCIA Bluetooth card for my laptop so I can transfer files to the phone but have not recieved it yet. Based on my first Bluetooth encounter I would say it is easy to use, and the phone has an internal memory feature, it uses a mico SD card. The phone comes with a 64meg one, but I recommend a 1 gig one if you like to carry your pictures and files with you. Max supported Micro SD card size is 1gig.
Speaking of pictures, this is a 2.0 meg pixel camera as well. There is no flash, the camera is easy to use and takes decent pictures, but really if you expect professional quality digital pictures, go buy a digital camera. But if you are like me and need a camera for work, just to take useable pictures this is great because I don't have to carry a camera around with me now. The pictures are better than most cell phone cameras I have seen. You could take acceptable eBay pictures with it in proper light. To insert or remove the SD card you have to open the back and take the battery out. So you should really get a cable or use Bluetooth to transfer pictures. For me Bluetooth is the way to go.  Here is a picture of my dog I took with the phone. I am sure that ebay will resize it, so it is not the actual size.

I borrowed a friends Bluetooth headset to make calls on, there is a whole other subject to write a review on. The headset connected to the phone easily, but I could not use the thing, it was useless, the phone worked fine, the Motorola headset was worthless LOL.
Sprint has tried to make you buy their ringtones. But you can make your own. But this phone does something strange. The ringtones are in a .3g2 format, which is a video type format. So you can put a mp3 in your media folder on your sd card, but the phone will not recognize it as a ringtone. You have go to some place like Mixxer and upload it to them, they will convert it to the proper format and then sent it to you in a SMS message format, you navigate to it on the web and download it. I think this phone should have been built to use mp3s for ringtones, but it is not. But then again, this is a phone, not an mp3 player! So if you want ringtones and are not willing to make your own you will have to buy them from Sprint. :(
The contact list on this phone can hold 500 numbers, but from what I have read you can't sync to Outlook. Another feature that this phone should have. I don't have my Bluetooth card yet, but if I figure out how to do it I will update this review.
The battery is not huge, neither is the phone. Expect the battery to last one day only if you use the phone at all. What do you want a slim phone with a huge battery? I had those old clunky Nokia's back when, no thanks, just plug it in every night. You can buy an USB cable from Sprint or eBay and it will charge the phone using a computers USB port, and you can use the phone as a mass storage device, and you can upload .3g2  type ringtones, but I don't think it will sync to Outlook either.  Sprint has a web based backup service for you phone book, yet another service for a  fee.
The keypad on this phone is a membrane type, it does not have buttons like on most phone, if you are a text message freak you might not like the keypad, but again this was done to keep the phone's size down.

Overall this phone is an excellent choice for adults that want a phone. If you are looking for DVD player and Big screen TV I suggest you look elsewhere. I give it a rating on Ray's rating system  (me) of  9 out of 10.

Pros
Great voice quality
Thin, easy to carry form
Easy to use interface
Bluetooth 2.0
Internal memory SD card
Nice screen
2.0 megpixel camera

Cons
External speaker quality
Battery life 1 day
Proprietary port for the charging cable and headset. If you want to use a headset and have the phone on a charger you can't do both at same time. If you want to do that you will need a Bluetooth headset.
SD card hard to get at. (common people, get Bluetooth! then you don't have to remove the SD card)

The last thing to say about this phone, it looks cool too! Not a reason what so ever to buy a phone if you ask me, but every review I read online said it was cool looking first thing. IT IS A PHONE people.... LOL
