Okay here is my second guide, I am no perfect speller, I am no perfect person, I say what I feel and I call it like it is, if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck then its a Duck.
I see all the time people asking for sales tips, well the biggest tip I can tell you is Be Yourself.
Put your listings according to what you feel the item is worth to another person, use reasonable shipping prices, dont be a greedy seller.
You dont need bells and whistles to sell a train engine, use your brains not your fancy pictures or fancy headers, your not selling yourself! You are selling items, pick good items, know what you are selling, If you know nothing about books for example why sell them? if you know nothing about antiques why sell them?
You wont profit by selling items you dont do the homework on, you will only make buyers feel that there questions are not answered properly, dont waste time, time is money! Sell what you know, the item will sell itself if its got a name, a reputation, Im not an expert but I see when I search around so many people complain about not selling what they have, well first you have to ask your self the number one question WOULD you buy it? If you cant find a reasonable answer then why would anyone else want it? So stop complaining about no sales and get something that sells, something you know about.
That is the best tip this power seller can offer to any one, take it for what its worth I take mine to the bank. Good luck to all sellers who read this, and remember sell what you know not what you think will make you rich, the best sellers on ebay are the most informed ones. Not the prettiest ones.
Who cares what it looks like on a screen, your not selling the screen your selling the item, put fancy pictures on the items and put the energy into the research then you may sell them.....good luck to all
