You will not believe this one I almost do not believe it but I was the one who caused the whole problem. I am not blaming anyone or anything but my little ole peapicker self me! How many times do you hear someone admit to making a mistake Well this mistake was a duesey or doozy or how ever you wish to spell it. Yes duese. This is a short form of duesenberg Which was a automobile built back in the 1929. I was such a fantastic auto that the shortened name was listed in the dictionary in 1930.Now back to the bloody problem did I say bloody> Yes for those of you way down south. You know that bunch of beer drinking blokes from way down under the ocean. The moral of the story. I like good morals. Is do not try to start even one of the smallest glow fuel motors the little 1/2A Cox motors that are only .049. If you do try to start one of these using your fingers you can be just like me. If you will study the photo very carefully. you will see that none of the red stuff is made from cornstarch and food coloring Trust me on this that is me flowing in the photos. so folks even the littlest motors can swing a propeller fast enough to cut to the bone and blood will flow very well when it does. USE a chicken stick or an electric starter.
take care and do not do this dray
NOW WE HAVE ANOTHER PROBLEM THAT HAS A FIX
the GLOWHEAD FROM COX
It is supposed to be some thing that all the glow heads from COX burn out very shortly. This is just not true I have three glow heads that are older than most of you. the are in their 40's. 99% of the glowheads will work for dang near ever if you do not put more than 1.5 volts thru them. the platinum wire will burn up if you put more voltage than that into them. the next time you have a glowhead that you think is gone and has bit the dust try this. take a small needle and with the glowhead plugged into the batteries gently push the coiled wire back and forth sometime it will dislodge a piece of dirt or garbage. Then wonder of wonders the glowplug will start to glow orange again. be gentle but firm and push and pull the wire till it does light up. It will. I got a box of glowheads from a club that swore up and down that none of them were any good any longer. Well after just minutes working on each of them they all and I mean every one of them would light up and start a motor. now that is really something as there wer 78 of them. YES every one of those 78 glowheads would light up and start ad run a glow fuel motor. dray
