The saddest area of eBay is located in the MEMORY GARDEN Groups.

Ebay is a community of many users and many times through the discussion boards, groups and even transactions eBay members become close friends. Everything is shared between these friends, the good times and the bad times. That is what makes it so hard when a community member and friend passes away. Many times members are too far away to attend memorial services so the next best thing was to post messages on community board threads.

Ebay now offers a place to to commemorate and memorialize those that we have lost. Many times threads were made on the different Community Boards when someone passed away. However over time those threads faded to the bottom and were soon deleted. All the support, prayers, hugs and stories told of the loved one were now lost. Ebay took note of this and added the new section to the groups area so that these type of posts and threads could remain visible for as long as the group and/or member desired it.

The eBay MEMORY GARDEN area is located on eBay under the Community - Groups - Special Interest Groups. It is an area made to celebrate the lives of our loved ones. Ebay members can join and leave posts in the groups that have been formed already or form their own group and make it private or public. This is a special place on eBay to let others know how your loved one, friend or pet has touched your life.

Nothing can take away the heartache everyone feels. But this small place in this big cyberworld to remember those we loved and lost just might be able to ease the pain for some. This is your memorial area to leave your messages and thoughts of loved ones. Please keep the postings peaceful, sincere and have respect to all those who post and all those who have been remembered by others in the Memory Garden on eBay.
