Sacred Blue might be called a rock and roll star in the world of trendy blue jeans.  The jeans have earned that reputation not for outrageous behavior, but for an aesthetic that is deeply inspired by rock and roll's heyday in the 1970s and by bands like the Rolling Stones. Sacred Blue jeans go for an authentic look of hard-worn rugged individuality. 

The company is a relative upstart in the world of designer jeans, having debuted its first collection in January 2004 at the Sundance Film Festival.  Sacred Blue jeans have gained popularity quickly since then.

Each pair of Sacred Blue jeans has unique detailing, and a wide variety of styles, fits, and washes are available. As is common with high-end denim jeans, part of the appeal is that the washing, fading, and distressing process involved in making them means that a buyer's jeans will never look exactly like anyone else's.  Modern day rock stars like Slash and Scott Weiland have been known to wear them, as have a number of female celebrities like Cameron Diaz. The company itself proclaims that its jeans offer superlative comfort due to a great fit.

Sacred Blue jeans are produced in a factory in Los Angeles (one at a time).  Although inspired by the hard rock style of the 70s, Sacred Blue jeans aren't exactly a throwback.  They do have the slimmer legs favored today as well as a darker denim color. The resulting look might be called a modern version of vintage jeans.
