Sweepstakers are familiar with the old addage: persistence, patience and postage. The latter is the most costly in terms of money and this cost can be reduced by buying unused US postage stamps on eBay for less than face value. These are usually sold in lots of 100 stamps or simply a bag of assorted values. When buying the assorted values, check with the seller about an estimate of face value. The important key to your search must be UNUSED and US stamps. Shipping is usually minimal and saves gas to the post office. I have purchased several sets and been pleased with the selection.
