Hi, Folks! I'm Catherine from 4-a-little-lady, an active USA eBay gifts and collectibles store - . In my store, there are long lists of music and other goodies.
Each week, I have questions in email asking if I've got a specific item in stock somewhere in those long lists. There's a quick way for the normal shopper to find out if a store has a specific item or title in stock without having to wait on emails.
1. When you enter your store, look on the left side of your screen, just a little way down, for a type-in box. This is a search box for the store you are in. You will not be taken out of the store by using it.
2. Type in a one or two word phrase that best describes what you are looking for. Example: If I would like to find the Enesco Jim Shore Wicked Witch, ... I would type in "wicked" --- and this will bring up only items with "wicked" in the title or ad content.
3. When you are done with your search, you can try another one, or click your back button (at the top of your screen on the left) to return to where you started from.
All stores have these internal search boxes. They are a valuable tool and time-saver to both shoppers and store owners alike.
Happy Shopping!!! Catherine 4-a-little-lady
