STOP the Negativity when listing & selling!!!

I just had to write this today! I made a purchase, sorta last minute thing and then I received the invoice and down at the bottom read something like this: PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 48 hours!!!!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!! All non payers WILL BE REPORTED BLA BLA BLA!!!  If you sell for any amount of time on ebay you will run into non payers. You will run into scam artists or you will just have a bad day and think everyone is out to get you! Haven't we all seen those listings where there is more red rules than black description of the item. Or where there is 1 pic a brief description and 2 pages of rules that you never really read anyway? Had I taken the time to read a little more i would have never purchased from this seller. And they have 100% feedback????? It prob. only took 1 person to make them write all this but, why chase away buyers with comments that are directed to that one person who will not last long on ebay anyway?

For good selling auctions / descriptions. Take more time to describe your items! Limit the rules. Be brief - short and sweet! People will then acutally read it! Do not take it out of ALL the wonderful shoppers on ebay for the 1 in about 20 non-payers (usually people new to ebay). You will get more out of kindness than you will rude sounding words!

Also you will choose to handle your business and I mine, but I DO NOT LIKE PAYMENT REMINDERS when you are not even LATE! I get them often and it really is rude. Take the time to look at the buyers feedback. Send a kind reminder when they are acutally late! Then REPORT!

Remember if you sell baby clothes most of your buyers will be preggo or with a new baby! That is the best time in life~ treat them kindly not hateful! They could have delivered early or been hospitalized!

My personal opinion is this is your little business or store. Pretend your customers are walking in and shopping with you. Greet them, thank them ask them to come back ~ GOOD OLD FASHION CUSTOMER SERIVICE (they will know ~ with a smile)! Leave kind remarks in feedback too! Dont ya hate the : thank you...... or item arrived as expected...... or Fast Pay...

HOW ABOUT APPRECIATION for them spending their (if like me) HARD EARNED MONEY with you!! WE CAN BRING BACK CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! It is dying all over this country and if we dont bring it back and teach our kids correctly we will soon be a big country of grouchy old people and rude youngsters! :) Thanks so much for letting me share my opintions and I in some way I help you to do better in your ebay selling!
