We girls at JinnandTonics  want to help you feel safe using ebay, to explore the mystical. Knowledge is power, and power can become corrupt. Like anyone else, ebay sellers can fall prey to their own less spiritual sides of behavior, being overrun with greed, envy, and competition. They need love just like anyone else, so we want you to go out there and spread the love and light, and try to be wise without passing judgment.

Let's first consider what it means to be wise without judgment. Then we can briefly look at the possible warning signs that a seller might display, and finally we will cover the tools you can use to avoid being set up!

The greatest gift is love. The reason it is the greatest gift is because it is truly the most powerful energy in existence. Love for our country and freedom of mankind has motivated many people the world around to willingly face death to support their beliefs, why, because they feel love for what is right, in their existence.

Like all powerful energy, it comes with great responsibility and great rewards, in this case we call that Karma. Karma is not an excuse to curse others, or fear defending yourself, and especially not a tool to use to intimidate or manipulate others. It is a simple principle of existence, it is, and that is it. So easy to say, but apparently not so easy to comprehend.

Understanding karma:

Karma is a word of ancient origin meaning "action or activity" and its subsequent results, (also called the "fruits of action"). Karma is a SUM of all a person has done, is currently doing, and will do. Karma is not about retribution, vengeance, punishment, or reward. It simply deals with what is.

The effects or "outcomes" of ALL DEEDS, actively create past, present, and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain and joy it brings to others.

Like attracts Like. But, the bottom line is this...

We are responsible for our own actions, that includes our own feelings! No other person can make us "feel" any specific reaction. We choose to feel a certain way. Either through direct thought and decisions, or through our Programed Coping Skills we took on throughout life. Right or wrong has nothing to do with it. Its still our final choice to feel a certain way. So, when we say, "I was wronged by that person" we are really saying, "I choose to create negative energy in reaction to an experience and allow that negative energy to hurt me".  How is it that we are so self destructive that we want to destroy our blessings in life by choosing to create negative Karma?

Habit.

Sad as it may seem, we generate our own bad experiences out of bad habits. There is a way to fix this issue, and a way to address the flow of negative karma, but, that's not the topic in this guide.

The fallacy of Common Sense:

If using good sense was common, there wouldn't be so much negativity in the world. So, don't beat yourself up, there is no such thing as good common sense, the most "common" sense of all in use is naivety. And in general, it's not really helpful in avoiding pitfalls. If we were all so perfect, we would not be waisting our time here on earth trying to get it right. So, we might as well make the most of this ride on the planet, and do what we can.

What we can do is pay attention to the signs!

That's harder than it seems. Ever got lost while traveling? With a "co-pilot" and a "map"? Me too! The satellite GPS market didn't boom over night for no reason. We all have trouble reading the signs from time to time. (on a side note: I believe those are the times we are being tested to show our mettle, proof of this, is when I can get lost and realize that I should just ask for help before it gets worse, I'm improving as a person when I come to this realization before I've run out of gasoline, driving around in circles)

Hey, I'm a work in progress just like everyone else.

But, paying attention to the signs being blatantly posted by sellers, can certainly help you avoid being hurt, and subsequently creating negative karma.

SIGNS:

Here is a fact:

OUR ACTIONS WILL ALWAYS FOLLOW OUR BELIEFS

Here is another fact:

NOTHING IS EVER TRULY HIDDEN

What does this mean? (I dunno? I read it in a fortune cookie)

I'm only joking!

This means, if we have a negative motive or belief, or attitude that we are either not consciously aware of, or we are deliberately trying to hide, we will always reveal it to others. This is the edge that allows good to win over evil every time. But, that's also another topic.

When we realize that a seller with wrong motives, ill intentions, or fraudulent actions can't hide these traits we can feel safer about using ebay to find the spiritual benefits of the other side. Why would that make us feel safer? Well, if you could recognize harm and how it will hurt you before the experience occurs, then you know in advance how to avoid the injury, and the subsequent negative karma.

So, how do we recognize the signs?



I know you have heard this before...

Read the sellers feedback, but I'm not telling you to just read it, I'm suggesting that you "hear it". When we read something, often we read silently and use our own tone of voice and inflections, which can mislead us as to the true intension of the writer. So, try to hear what the emotions are revealing when the buyers comment about the seller. But, don't think this will protect you. There is a fact of human nature (we are followers), we hate to be the first to say something negative, or unless we are really mad, we might just avoid the possible conflict of receiving negative feedback. So, how helpful is feedback really? It's a generality. It rarely reveals the sellers true motives.

So, if you are going to buy from someone and you suspect you might want to spend more than a few bucks, or the purchase will be important to you, sign up for their newsletter, read all the guides, reviews, blogs, and auctions they write. Why? Because they will reveal their motives and intentions through the words they write, not what others are saying about them.


How to Hear:

To hear really means to listen. But, rarely do we really want to listen, because we are too busy knowing. If your married or in a long term relationship you already understand what I just said. I can see you shaking your head yes!

Here is the secret to it all:

EMPATHY AND PROJECTION

Empathy - defined as one's ability to recognize, perceive, and "feel" directly the emotion of another.

Since the states of mind, beliefs, and desires of others are intertwined with their emotions, one with empathy for another may often be able to effectively define another's mode of thought or mood, which ALWAYS REVEALS THEIR MOTIVES AND BELIEFS!



Now, as an empath, I completely recognize this is a skill that not everyone uses and may be difficult for some to understand how to use. That's why "projection" is so helpful. By projection, I refer to "psychological projection".

Projection - a primitive defense mechanism in which one attributes to others, their own unacceptable behaviors, thoughts, and/or emotions.

Please don't criticize anyone who projects their insides onto others, this is a subconscious survival skill to relieve anxiety, and I doubt anyone uses it on purpose to hurt others. They need love and light to help them cope. However, it is a SIGN that is as clear as daylight to help you avoid becoming victimized unwarrantably.



What can projection reveal? And how do I recognize it?

This is the easy part!

When you read the materials the sellers are writing, pay attention to the emotions they are using, and if they display any tone or attitude to what it is saying about how they feel.

Pay very close attention to the following:



Accusations that others are out to get them

Warnings that sound like Criticisms or Favoritisms without justification

Rudeness towards the buyers

Excuses for not Providing Good Customer Service

Self Praise and Self Inflating Ego

Insults towards Buyers Intelligence

Insults against Others In Any WAY

If the seller's focus is on anything other than positive energy, you might want to consider your risks.

This in no way means that if you see any one of these things that the seller is a fraud! We all have bad days, but if you see a theme, or recurrence of behaviors and attitudes, it is a warning sign.

Should you not buy from these other sellers?

Absolutely buy from them!

Any opportunity to uplift another who could benefit from love and light should always be taken!

But, I just warned you...



No, I just armed you! You now can spread love and light into their lives, by using wisdom without judgment, and this allows you to benefit from the magik they offer, without being the victim of negative energy or karma. Besides, when your motives are pure, you're protected from harm, you become a victim, when you choose to allow yourself to hold on to negative energy as a result of others actions.

The point is this!

No other seller's threats of negative karma can come back on you... ONLY YOU CREATE YOUR KARMA!

Even when you feel victimized, you can choose to experience a blessing from the situation.

If you are wise, and watch for the signs, and keep a giving attitude, and look for the blessings in all experiences, you might just walk away with not only Good Karma, a great item, positive feedback, but something much more valuable....



You might just have helped another person cope, by sharing love and light!
