STICKLES Glitter Glue: A Must-Have Supply for Scrapbooking and Card Making

The other day a friend of mine who has been scrapbooking for several years asked me what could be done with Stickles.  I think she was actually sorry she asked after listening to me go on and on about the multiple uses for Stickles.

Stickles is a Glitter Glue that is manufactured by Ranger Industries.  It comes in over 30 colors, and the newest colors are awesome....I have them all (except Copper...in the interest of full-disclosure, it has a brassy look to it that I just don't find appealing).

What is Glitter Glue, you ask.  It is exactly what it seems.  It is an adhesive that comes in many colors with the glitter mixed in.  No putting down your adhesive then sprinkling the glitter.  No muss, No fuss.  Quick and Easy Bling for your project!

It comes in a easy to squeeze bottle with a fine tip for precise application.  Granted, when you first use it, you should practice a little to get the feel of the product, the flow of the glue, etc., before applying it to a project.  Also, remember this is glue, so make sure to let your project dry before moving it or putting it in a page protector.

Uses for Stickles Glitter Glue:

1.  Lettering:  with Stickles fine tip, you can (with a little practice) write your title or fun words on your scrapbook project.  The best way to do this is to lightly, with a pencil, write your word(s) on your project.  Then carefully go over the pencil markings with the Stickle.  (Some Stickles colors are light, so make sure your markings are very light.)

2.  Chipboard:  you can easily cover chipboard letters and shapes with Stickles for a quick glittery touch.  Or use Stickles to outline your chipboard after covering letter or shape with paint or paper.

3.  Masking:  use a mask shape to fill in with Stickles for an easy stenciled touch

4.  Embellishment:  use Stickles to add Dots or Squiggly lines to your page....good for lines or circles to emphasize an element

5.  Flowers:  this is my personal favorite thing to do with Stickles.  Take your favorite Prima or Petaloo flower and use a coordinating (or light glaze) Stickles to outline the petals or down the "vein" to add some glitter and gloss to your plain flower.  Why pay extra for glittered flowers when you can do it yourself!

6.  Felt:  add glitz and glam to your flat felt accents.  Outline or accent with Stickles.

These are just some of the many things you can do with Ranger STICKLES Glitter Glue.  As you can see, there are endless uses, only limited by your own imagination.  I carry nearly every color in my Ebay store.  Check out the links below and have fun!
