I realize some folks have good experiences with a particular cell phone service provider while other folks experience is like a horror movie based on "true events". I want to get right to the point with one cell service provider which is SUNCOM! Rude customer service should be the first warning sign to STAY AWAY! I signed up for service with Suncom back in July and only stayed with the til September! Yeah, I had 3 lines and a 2 yr service contract and still didn't care what they did to my credit! In the beginning, the customer service rep. was all nice and generous. Why??? he was getting some type of bonus/commission for bringing in a new customer for the next 2 years. It didn't take long before they began to get arogant and short tempered. First off, they gave me a $700 spending limit(without telling me) on each line, 2 of which were being used by my teenage daughters! Had I known there were spending limits I would have told them to set it to $80 on each line. Next, after only using the phone (nokia 6126) for 4 weeks, my daughters phone begin saying "unknow Sims Card" which cause the phone not to work! I was then told to take it to a Suncom store for a new sims card, which I found out it was not the card but the phone was no good! Ok, so now they offer me a "temporary replacemen phone" which I would have to pay for! Luckily since the phone was still under warranty, I could send it back to Nokia & have them fix it for free but just before I got ready to ship the phone out....I got my first bill :) A whopping $366! Ok, I call them up to find out what went wrong and was told that my daugther browsing the web which they charge 1 cent per kilobite & that she went over her 500 texts by 1000 additional texts. Since I had 2 accounts I had 2 bills so when my second bill came just days later, it too was over $300! While I realize its the customers responsibility to keep up with there usage I also realized it was not right for them to put spending limits on my accounts w/o warning me of this. The rep. told me to call back the day after the due dates on the accounts and they would put me on a payment plan so I could catch up the balances. Well, I did and at that point was told "Oh, we don't do that". So now I have to kick out over $600 in order to keep my service going. Do you think I did??? I sure did not! Now all of a sudden they are willing to make payment arrangements along with a free month of service! The nasty service reps & the jacked up charges is enough for me to want the world to know these 3 words about Suncom.....1. STAY 2. AWAY
