I am thinking of starting a website to expose Ebay fraudsters. I buy lot's of classic cars on Ebay, the fraud in that segment as well as expensive construction and farm equipment is staggering. I often go through ads just to find the apparently fraudulent ones and report them to Ebay, They act like they don't care, The biggest offenders and the most obvious are the classic and muscle cars that have buy it now prices which are ridiculously low and ask you to contact them outside of ebay becasue they are having problems with thier ebay mail accounts.
I have also run into ads that when you try to click anywhere in the ad, it automatically opens your email account to send to an address outside of ebay.
NEVER RESPOND TO ANY AD THAT ASKS TO COMPLETE THE DEAL OUTSIDE OF EBAY!!!!
Please send me your horror stories about what may have happened to you and include the ebay id's used, I will start an site to list all these offenders. You can send me the stories to rtekgroup@qwest.net.
