from STARBUCKS CANADA's most recent promotion. 

These cards resemble their US counterparts- with the specific CANADIAN iTunes references on the back.
Downloads are available at www.iTunes.ca, and are redeemable only on the iTunes Store for Canada.

(**There is a virtually identical iTunes card simultaneously distributed ONLY in The UNITED STATES valid at iTunes.COM.)

The recent shipment to STARBUCKS stores only contained FOUR weeks, instead of the previous FIVE week shipments.
As well, many stores here in Canada are only receiving a SINGLE bundle of 100 cards- rather than the ORIGINAL shipments of 200 cards, divided into TWO bundles- and shipped in increments of FIVE weeks at a time. 
Makes one wonder if this is the last shipment- and the CANADIAN iTUNES programme has ended.

Though the release date on Tuesday is considered accurate; many stores may make these cards available after their respective release period.
If the situation in the United States carries forward to Canada, It will not be uncommon to find PICK OF THE WEEK cards from several weeks earlier still being distributed in many STARBUCKS locations- AFTER their designated distribution period.
NOTE- As many Canadian STARBUCKS locations have had no familiarity with the PICK OF THE WEEK programme, some locations are simply placing out the 'future' issue cards, as existing stock is exhausted.  ALL FOUR (of the first four) PICK OF THE WEEK issues have shown up in some Toronto locations.

According to the best sources available AT LEAST FOUR different Canadian iTunes cards will be released- as listed above.
No finite date has been given (as of OCTOBER 29th., 2009) for the termination of this newest STARBUCKS' HEAR MUSIC program.
