STAR TREK PROPS SCAM

A load of Star Trek Props are starting to be listed on ebay. Referring to my Star Trek collecting guide I reiterate that No- Name Props are worthless in a collector's standpoint, however,  there is a following of Replica Prop collectors. We are seeing more or them because they are banned from conventions and licensed items Paramount Pictures PP are sold in their place. Above you see common no-name communicators in plastic.

STIII Comm sold on ebay as real for $356.00 A worn & weathered R. Coyle replica...Fraud

This communicator was sold on ebay as a original prop from Star Trek. The sale was private so the Buyer could not be contacted. It is actually an early James T. Kirk Replica missing the rhinestones. (The guy really changed his name to JT. Kirk)

Classic Star Trek Communicator replicas and Phaser replicas were sold from the 1970-present. These are all inaccurate until Paramount licensed them. This is because they used Screen Captures to make them.

Now some of the Real Communicators have been found and verified by the herocomm.com* The Wah Chang Gang. Four of the ten have apparently been found.  A FORGERY was used in The Smithsonian Institution Star Trek Exhibit.

John Long's Star Trek Phaser 1 and Communicator Kits

John Long on ebay  =  hey_norton!

An example of a collectors kit worth anything would be The 23th Century Pistol which was withdrawn from the market by a Paramount Lawsuit. It has a full color box with instructions. The company still bent on selling changed the box to phaser II. The difference 23rd Century has chromed parts Pazer II does not. Most props have a simple box and there are hundreds. Communicators had plain boxes. Because Star Trek fonts are readily available anyone can make a prop out of resin and bag it using authentic Star Trek writing.

Buy a replica from real Star trek Propmasters...Richard A. Coyle, Ed Miarecki, Steve Horch/Mike Moore, Brad Nelson, Max Cervantes, John Long, Greg Jein. You need a signed COA by them, too many copies!

Sellers are ridding themselves of No-Name Star Trek props because of cheap and accurate Paramount Pictures licensed products. The licensed props will always be worth more, even if they are toys, Period!

NOTE:

These props cover the whole Star Trek Universe so don't get burned for hundreds of dollars.
