You need a good recipe to stain and prim ole fabric, try this one...its great...You need an old pan that you can put your mixture in...something you can use to store in the refrigerator if you want..but I leave mine out I use so much of it...you can use old brewed coffee, or strong tea, or even instant coffee and make it as dark as you want. Mix about 6 tablespoons to about 2 cups of hot water or your hot coffee that you are done with for the morning..that is if you didnt drink it all like me...I also add vanilla extract gives it a nice fragrance, you can add cinnamon if you like, or even try adding cocoa, like you use for making brownies..if the mixture gets cold you can reheat it alittle bit and it works well, if it gets some sludge in the bottom just mix that up it works great on those primitive ornies....Using an old paint brush after making your items....dip the brush into your mixture and lightly stain over your items. And for an added look especially during the holiday season....add some extra cinnamon or ginger on top and rub it in for an even more grungy look...works great..try you...to make a bigger batch...just increase the amounts   and you got it...
