Plain and simple, grinding exposes the maximum surface area, which makes the material MUCH more potent when used, allowing it to be used MUCH more efficiently. Grinding also ELIMINATES THE NEED FOR INHALATION OF BUTANE because only a spark is needed to ignite the ground material. 

Usage Tips:

The SPACE CASE Grinder/Sifter is used to both grind your herb and collect the potent crystals that fall through the screen. After grinding, to extract the maximum amount of crystals, use the triangle collector to scrape the ground material against the screen. If you do this repeatedly you'll extract all the crystals present in the material and have instant accumulation. The amount extracted depends on the quality. Higher quality yields more crystals.

For normal sifting you may shake the SPACE CASE to speed up the accumulation of crystals and increase the amount accumulated in the bottom section. Freezing your herb for 30 minutes before grinding also assists crystal separation and increases accumulation. If you prefer not to separate the crystals, just don't shake the case after grinding. Simply pour the ground material into your favorite stash container or leave it stored in the SPACE CASE.
