If A SELLER SMOKES, IT IS THEIR  RESPONSIBILITY TO INFORM THE BUYER AND MAKE THEM AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SMOKE DAMAGE TO ANY PURCHASE!  Smoke leaches to boxes, packaging peanuts, and ALL packaging material, as well as to any ITEM PURCHASED.

If you are a smoker, PLEASE state that in your description.  Any shipment that arrives from a smoker's home REEKS of smoke. Sometimes so much so that I have had to place the original SWAK box outside my home to hopefully air out.  The brand new item must be washed to remove the smell.  Also, if the item has been on display in a smoker's home, nicotine and tar residue build-up is so thick it is almost impossible to remove.   It is very sticky and leaves a yellow tint on the ceramics and sometimes must be washed multiple times to remove the build-up.

Peanuts, boxes and other packaging material stored in a smoker's home picks up the smell of smoke.  I have had boxes arrive that reek so highly of smoke that we have had to take the boxes outside our home to open them.  Peanuts used to pack the boxes pick up the nicotine and tar residue and become sticky leaving the residue on the ceramic item they are packed around making it even harder to wash off.

As a collector, I save my SWAK boxes and original packaging.  It makes it very difficult to do so when they reek so highly of smoke that it permeates my large double car garage.
