We have been advised by a few of our Customers now that a scam is happening at Target Stores. Apparently, some choice individuals have been buying up the Target Sizzlers, opening up the boxes, replacing the cars with 79 cent Hotwheels and returning them to Target. Urban Legend? True? Who knows. Im just the messenger so please don't shoot me.
Buyers-Beware.
Make sure you know what you are buying by investing some time in getting to know the product. We are always around to help those who need some advice or assistance. Some easy ways to check this out is by;
1-Looking at the box square on where the name Sizzlers appears, you will see the charging hole of the car. We have not yet seen a Target Sizzler that the hole is towards the back of the box.
2-So far, all we've ever seen is the cars are facing left as you look at the box front.
3-Obviously, the name of the car should match whats inside.
4-Check out the tape! The box is taped shut in the front and rear of the box. Look for evidence of tape removal or tampering.
5-Report this to the store security. This needs to be watched!!!
6-We just found out that a particular website that sells toys has come out with a real scam. They are selling SUPER-O SETS. They claim that this set is the new version of the California 500 Race set. When our informant tried to buy it, he got a Giant O set with an old lap computer and a scramble start. Amazing how people can exploit this hobby.
We are offering our support to everyone, and would appreciate a positive vote for our efforts.
