I have been selling and buying on e-bay for years and it occourred to me a while ago maybe some things I have learned could help someone else...

Research the catagory a little don't just start at the beginning and find an item buy it and then two pages and five hours difference you see the same item maybe even in better shape for less. If a catogory has a lot of pages there may be much better buys and the only difference is a few days... Or you could find it on pg55 a BIN.... If you check the same catogories often sometimes I like to check whats been newly listed... like go to the last page.... and work backwards... or you can change to newly listed...

When ya find a seller selling something close to what you are looking for...example you're looking for coats and a guy is selling pants that would go with that coat... Chances are he might have a coat too... there again ask that question... can't hurt...

Plan your times to shop... personally I think anytime is a good time but the best...not so much...If you ae a night owl perfect cause some of the best buys are in late night...  on the day after a holiday times when others are sleeping go to the time ending soonest and check out everythig that ends within 5-6 hours You don't get outbid as much I would not forget that you can go to the Buy it Now Listings and lots of times there are best offers... don't be afraid to make a reasonable offer the seller would not have put it there if he wasn't flexible in the price.

 ALWAYS check the Shipping cost before ya buy... some of sellers will discount the item and then tack it one the shipping to make the money...shame on them... fair shipping prices are the ticket I mean everyone has mailed stuff look at Christmas you don't really know heck thewre is a USPS website that will tell ya what the shippin is...

Ask that question heck we're all a bunch of really nice folk that like to do this photo's are good but sometimes you have that one question... there are no dumB Questions...

Of course it goes without saying check the seller out view feedback, about me page etc... it is always easier when you are dealing with a seller that has a good reputation

so watch out for wooden nickels and if it looks like a duck... quacks well you know...
