Ok- we all know the holidays roll around every year in December. As do birthdays, Father's Day , Mother's Day etc...
So while you are shopping for whatever you need/want- I have found it wise to once I make my purchase or am considering my purchase- to look at the seller's other listings.
Does a CD, VHS,DVD, book or an item of clothing catch my eye? Is there a special occasion in the next few months I'll need to shop for? I keep some nice general gifts on hand ( Cd's are a favorite of mine) for when I need a hostess gift and the like. I save oodles this way.
Most sellers offer combined shipping- and if its not clear in their listing it never hurts to ask. For instance-if 2 sellers are selling the same item- and seller B also has a VHS or DVD I could use- it's wise to buy from seller B and save on shipping/handling.
It may feel strange to buy a Christmas/ holiday item in July/August- but if I'm making a purchase of some face cream- and I like the seller's Christmas music CD and they'll include it for just $1 extra shipping charge ( in addition to item cost)-- I just saved several dollars- and time in shopping later. Also Christmas/Holiday items will be a lot less in the off season.Buying off season saves me/you money- also makes December's budget easier to handle.
All of our lives are so full of so many things-- buying multiple items from 1 seller- saves me money, and time--freeing me ( you) up for the many other things we like to do with our time.
