)Let me start by saying read! read! read! ask! ask! ask! these are our best tools you have to a safe and fraud free transaction on Ebay We at bsmoneysaversales just finished a little research study on how many people read the listing or add here is the SHOCKING TRUTH:
we listed a well known Phonograph (the opera model A) and GI JOE Action Figure Carded for sale
(But not really)
It was worded to sale just a photo or picture of the items in the add/listing, and here is the results that I know a lot of you are wanting and waiting to see
On the phonograph We Had at least 900 viewers,
155 watchers,
21 blind bidders( those who bid with out asking any ?s)and bid a lot not at small amount as one would think these guys bid $1000s
We are happy to inform you that 112 people ask the magic ?s Is this a photo or the item in the photo for sale?
On the GI JOE it was more of the same, except there was a little different wording, it clearly stated it was for a thick paper photoand some people still bid on the item!!! Shame on you NO!NO!NO!
!!!!Praise to the smart and careful Ebayers !!!!
we need more of you on these auction sites!
However there is some who read the listing and did not seem to read it all to well,
we had 17 email wanting to know the condition of the item!and size and about shipping location for pick up etc.
We even had people call us frauds and crooks after we told them what we were doing (the research study )we tried to make it as clear to them as we could it was like they were upset because they did not get the chance to lose there income!!We say shame on you greed mungers if we were dishonest we could have kept the money, by law it was legal to do so !! we did this for a learning tool, mabe some of these people ( even if we only reach one person who bid on these kind of auctions perhaps they will be more careful about how they purchase and or bid on a binding contract and ask the ?s dont be afraid if they do not ansewer do not bid!!
we will not print the peoples buyers names that were bidding blind,they know who they are and I can only hope this will be a good time to think about what it is you are doing to your self, you could have buy law lost a lot of income by not reading these adds carefully and asking the right ?s Iwil bring this to a close now,I would like to thank all of ebays members that were involed in this study!!!!
