Be wary of inflated shipping cost.

Some sellers will inflate shipping cost to circimvent fees and inflate the cost of the item.

Some of the things to look out for are.

1. The item location should contain a city and state.

2. Use commin sense. If the item weighs 5 LBS. and the   shipping cost is $50.00 something is wrong.

3. Ask the seller what the item wieghs, the demensions of the  package and the zip code. You can then go to the Fedex or UPS site and caculate the shipping cost. Again use commen sense, a pocket watch does not weigh 5 pounds and is not 20"x20"x20.

4. large items such as complete industrial sewing machines can be broken down and shipped in seperate packages. Ask the seller about the option. This can be an option if the item is marked as shipping by freight.

5. Check the shipping cost of like items on ebay compar cost.

6. Ask if packing fees are included in the shipping cost.

Good Luck and happy bidding!!
