OMG!  I can't believe some of the shipping prices people charge when selling their items on ebay!

Did you know that the Post Office now has 2 or 3 different size priority shipping boxes?  These boxes aren't small eithier!  One box probably holds 30 big softcover books! 

W H A T E V E R fits into these boxes, NO MATTER WHAT the weight, only costs $8.20 to ship PRIORITY!!  The box price is included in that cost!  So, if it's smaller than a breadbox, you shouldn't be paying any more than 10.00 for shipping (don't forget sellers packing cost-but it better be packed with lots of bubble wrap-this stuff isn't expensive eithier though). 

I once bought a CELLPHONE and paid almost 15.00 for shipping.  I sold my old cellphone, and only paid 7.50 for priority shipping w/ confirmation of delivery!   I paid double shipping for the one I bought!!  And in case you're wondering-yes, the book was included in the package!

Just something to keep in mind while shopping on ebay.  And remember-first class is CHEAPER than priority!  Also, keep in mind that you actually shouldn't pay extra for a confirmation number-because I found out the hard way that pay-pal REQUIRES ALL SELLERS to have a tracking number for ALL ITEMS THEY SELL if they are using pay-pal as a payment option!

Sellers, you should keep that in mind too-you may send something out, and if your buyer doesn't receive it-then YOU ARE responsible for it no matter what stipulations you put in your items description (I found this out the hard way as well)!!  It protects your butt as well!

BUYERS-if you can still find it in a store-you're probably better off buying it there, keep shipping prices in mind-and add it up to the winning bid-is it REALLY cheaper than walmart?! 

And SELLERS if you want 55.00 for your item, then that shouldn't be your shipping price!  I love ebay-but give me a break already. 

TO EBAY:  There should be a "report high shipping prices" button for each item sold on ebay.  I realize people will give their life savings for some items-but some maybe don't realize they're having the wool pulled over their eyes.
