I bought a really large pitcher from an auction that claimed it was Sevres China from France. After paying a large sum for this pitcher I later found out it was from the SEVRES China Company in East Liverpool Ohio. This company was in business from 1900 to 1907. The company burned in 1907 and they specialized in china for hotels. I do believe the piece I bought is worth something as I have yet to find another one like it but it was not Sevres from France. The mark on the bottom is says SEVRES in all capitol letters and the ones from France have the capitol S and lower case letters follow.
